The Bissell 1867-7 Steam Mop has been on the market for a while and has a good reputation. But is it the best option available if you are looking to buy a new steam mop? Let's take a closer look at it's features, strengths and weaknesses, and what consumers have to say about it before we make that determination.

The Bissell 1867-7 has some good design features for a steam mop. It has a low profile mop head which is great for getting under cabinets and furniture. Some steam mops have the water tank located in the mop head which makes it big and bulky, the Bissell does not. The Bissell's water tank is located in the body of the steam mop and is removable for filling.
<a href="http://expat-forum.net/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=17762&p=33005#p33005"" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Beach wedding</a>

Another great design feature of the Bissell 1867-7 Steam Mop is that it's mop head can swivel 360 degrees. The ability to do this makes the mop easier to maneuver and use. The steam mop heats up quickly, is lightweight at just 7 lbs., and has a quick release cord wrap. It has an 11 inch cleaning path and a filter to prevent dirt and minerals from clogging the mop. It comes with two micro fiber mop pads that are machine washable.

The Bissell 1867-7 also has some design features that aren't so great. In order to produce steam while mopping you have to push a trigger. This can be annoying and means extra work on the user's part. Many other popular steam mops produce steam automatically when turned on.

This steam mop also has a water tank that is on the small side. If you have a lot of floors to mop, you may have to fill up more frequently than you would like with it. It also has a cord that is a little on the short side. At 17 feet, it is short compared to most other steam mops.

When it comes to customer reviews on the Bissell 1867-7 Steam Mop, many people are happy with the mop's performance. It had a good share of positive reviews to it's name with compliments on it's performance and ease of use. It also, however, had it's fair share of complaints. It seems many people had problems with the steam mop leaving the floor too wet. Others reported the water tank was leaking on them. And finally, I also saw some complaints from consumers that their Bissell Steam Mop broke on them, in some cases after only several months of use.

All of this information should be weighed before deciding whether or not the Bissell 1867-7 is the steam mop for you. There are of course other, more highly rated steam mops that are certainly worth looking at.

With so many steam mops on the market these days, it is hard to know which one to choose. And then many manufacturers offer you more than one choice. Haan is one of those companies. After releasing their popular steam mop, the FS20 model, they released the Haan Slim and Light. So is the Haan Slim and Light worth owning? Lets find out.

The Haan Slim and Light has a sleek and lightweight design. It probably got it's name from it's slim (low profile) mop head. This design is wonderful because a low profile mop head enables you to easily get under your kitchen and bathroom cabinets when mopping and also makes it easier to mop under furniture. The Haan Slim and Light does lack a swivel mop head, a feature many other mops has, but I don't feel that this is a major issue since it's slim and lightweight design make it easy to maneuver and get into hard to reach places.

The Haan Slim and Light is loaded with lots of great features. Among them, it's removable water tank. Should you need to refill during mopping, a removable water tank makes the process so much easier. The size of the water tank is just over 13 ounces. This is about average for a water tank on a steam mop. It should give you enough steam to do a couple of rooms before you have to refill.

Anyone who has used a Shark Steam Mop will appreciate the fact that you don't have to push a trigger on the Haan Slim and Light to get steam to come out. It comes out constantly on it's own while the mop is plugged in. This is a nice feature since constantly having to push a trigger can be tiresome.

Probably the most exciting feature about the Haan Slim and Light is the carpet glide attachment that comes with it. With this handy attachment, you can sanitize rugs, carpets, mattresses, and more. This is a really wonderful asset since at 212 degrees, the Haan Slim and Light gets hot enough to kill dust mites, bacteria, and other germs.

The mop pads of the Haan Slim and Light are also nicely design. They easily velcro on and come off just as easily when you are ready to throw them in the washing machine. The mop comes with 2 mop pads which is enough to get you started but if you have a lot of floors to mop, you might want to invest in a few extra mop pads so you can change them frequently enough during mopping. You will get better results if you change your mop pad often. This is true with any steam mop.

All in all, the Haan Slim and Light is a great steam mop. It is well built and has some wonderful features. It has received lots of wonderful customer reviews and Haan is a company that really stands behind it's products. Should you encounter a problem with your steam mop, you should have no trouble getting assistance to resolve the issue. The Haan Slim and Light has a slightly higher price tag than some other popular steam mops including the Eureka Enviro Steamer and Bissell Steam Mop but I think that it's features and performance certainly make up for that fact.
